The First Annual Flying Fish Festival was quite a
success. The museum's kids activity booth hosted close to 400 kids over
the three days! Here are a few photos from the event.

Ada Blanche Wrigley Schreiner enjoyed
meeting the Flying Fish Mascot, Gil. Blanny graciously
rededicated the historic flying fish sightseeing boat, the
Blanche W. which was named after her by her grandfather, William
Wrigley Jr. After the rededication ceremony on Friday evening
the full boat plied the waters along the coast and dozens of flying
fish greeted the passengers.

Hundreds of kids enjoyed learning about
flying fish while making their own Flying-Fish-On-A-Stick,
postcards, fishy jewelry and more. Thanks to all of the
volunteers who helped!

Festival attendees enjoyed watching the
3-day process of creating this gorgeous sand castle!
Professional artists spent hours painstakingly forming and carving
this castle with its delicate spires and towers.
